The preschool program serves children ages 2 through 5. Each classroom has 10 students and our target student to staff ratio is 2:1. This enriched staffing ratio allows for intensive and individualized programming, high rates of attention and reinforcement, and data collection to monitor progress.
The day is broken into a variety of individual small and large group activities that address each child’s individualized goals. Groups and activities range from structured 2:1 learning sessions to typical preschool activities such as center time, circle time, song and story, snack, art and fine motor groups, recess to promote learning in natural contexts, and generalization of skills.
Referrals to the preschool program are parent driven. New referrals are placed on a list for consideration for placement. An evaluation is then scheduled to determine if services are appropriate for the child. Once the initial referral has been made, the family is eligible to participate in all parent education nights.
Monday – Thursday

The preschool program is a full day program. The yearly calendar is modeled after a typical school district calendar, with standard breaks throughout the year. An optional summer program is also offered for current students.
